are these any good and do they make the power gains suggested...would love some sound proof on this? oh and do you need a re-map after.....

 

i have been looking at these and decat exhausts on ebay, the manifolds claim to increase bhp by 25hp and the exhausts 45bhp. i would like a answer to this to! cheers

 

once remapped they are realistic gains, but those figures are after mapping

 

could always opt for ported oe headers.

 

All these power gains often seem far fetched but....I have a 96STi that recently had an engibne re-build. The car is completely standared, apart from a heat wrapped 3inch downpipe and 2 1/2 inch exhaust.The car has NOT been re-mapped. As standard, bhp is 275. Had it on the rolling road at scooby city day and it made 299.2bhp, so that's 25bhp just from the exhaust. I also have a set of HKS headers and front mount to go on, so it will be interesting to see what difference these make...
