Default ej22t

is that right that with the early lagacy turbo 91-94 the engine number EJ22 was the only numbers on there and they never did stamp a EJ22T ?

this is what i have been told on the nasioc.

and how do you tell from some pics of the short block that its a closed deck ?

all advice welcome.

i have found a ej22 it is a fully closed deck block but the guy cant tell me if it was a turbo version ??

am i right in saying that as long as it has the oil squirters and is closed deck then it is a turbo version ?

as if it was a non turbo then no oil squitrters.

cheers
