Default Mega drop in Boost?

Just been out to get some V Power. Was boosting lovely on the way to 16 psi. On the way back only 11psi??

Is the ECU still able to cut boost when a Dawes Valve is fitted? The check light is not lit.

Any clues on where to start looking when I open the bonnet later?

As far as i know the ECU won't cut the boost because of the dawes device.

Default Done, and.. Done.

The Dawes is fine, no blockages.

So, it must be something in the boost circuit. Any ideas?

Sorted, refitted Dawes and now boosting fine.

Depends if the boost control solenoid is still in the control path. Normally the dawes by-passes it, but depends on individual fitment.

Sounds like you've sorted it now though...thats one reason I don't like dawes devices...would of been worse if it stuck the other way.
