Default UK V7 ECU

hi all
i have a 94wrx jdm it had a w6 ecu in it when i got it and now it has a uk v7 ecu now the question is do i still have to run the car on v max and tesco 99ron fuel or can i get away with 95 ron or 97 ron fuel with the ecu is being a uk one

95 or 97 will be fine, but you may loose a bit of timing with 95 and in turn it can end up less economical.

I think your doing the false economy thing
Agree with Scott, no problem running 95, but most people will run their scoob on the best fuel available, even on a standard uk car, the highest ron is better than the lowest, simply because you gain power and a slight gain in mpg because it burns better, otherwise your ending up using more 95 ron and paying a similar price in fuel as you did before, so you may as well stick to the good stuff

i have kept my UK 7D ecu to fit into my WRX just in case v power disapears etc or some crap happens where 95 ron is all u can get,you never know
