water pump problem

Angry water pump problem

hi there
picked my boy up from school friday.on the way back started to missfire.it was low on fuel..ok i thought..got home and noticed water pissing out from my water pump..****!!!. would this affect the running and causing it to miss fire badly??just put a fivers worth in..still doing it??so ive stripped down the front of the engine and taken out the duff water pump...checked oil no water leaking into oil..head gasket check. seems ok.would the water pump
going make the car badly missfire?..water temp was normal no over heating .. any help on this guys..thanks

Nope, I can't see how a leaking water pump could cause a misfire or similar. That must be another problem you have?

Was the water from the pump spraying over your electrics?

lack of missfire causeing electrics down that way IMO

possible overheating?
