Default boost problem help needed

i had an hks boost controller on my car which i had removed, since then my car hits 4.5k & there is no more boost, its like hitting a brick wall, smoke out of exhaust, ive made sure the boost pipes are in the right place, the actuator feels a bit weak, i can move it easily with one hand, ive tried a 3 port solenoid & that makes no difference, would a dawes device cure my problem? really starting to do my head in now, should i have a restrictor in one of the pipes, if so which one & should i be able to see/feel it? if anyone can help who lives in lancashire i would really appreciate them taking a look

should have a restrictor when 2port on, between T piece and compressor cover..

do you have a boost gague and therefore can see if it is hitting boost cut?

yes it is in the small length of pipe.. yes you can see it.. just a small metal tube with a small hole in.. you can get them from dealer or make your own.

Yes it could cause the problem but until you get boost gauge on there, we dunno if it is hitting boost cut or not.

As far as i'm aware you should have a restrictor in the thinner tube from the boost solenoid, its possible your ecu is reading ether high vacuum or pressure and won't allow your turbo to produce boost (failsafe)
Advise a quick phone call to subaru may help.

ps You cant see the restrictor because its inside the pipe so you have to feel your way along the pipe to find it
