3" decat down pipe, blits nur spec r system (i have this all ready and sounds vvv sweet, if not abit loud)

what how would it sound if i put equal length headers on?

what are the benifits over standard ported headers/tublar headers?

not sure how it would sound being equel? but i have the nur spec with a 3"down pipe which was nice if maybe a touch loud? and fitted tubular headers and now its fooking loud! even to me and i am a young chav now thinking of a different back box that is a bit quieter but is still 3" pipe work!for the early starts! dose sound good tho on full chat if you dare

equal length headers get rid of the distinctive impreza sound and will sound extremely loud

 

When I fitted Gruppe S headers the car was quieter than the OE headers they replaced.

 

with equals it will sound like a rally car without the many pops.... they run equals for the twin scroll turbos.

 

ive had
std headers with tsl fire storm - sounds very deep and burbley -v good if you like the sound of a vw camper van on steriods


421 tubular equal length headers with fire storm - sounds terrible very raspy couldn't live with it - naff

421 tubular equal length headers and hks hiper , rumble was back is sounded very flat and not very deep sounded ok at high revs

4-1 non equal and hks hiper, bit deeper (not much) still sounds a bit flat at low revs high revs sounds ok

all in all std manifold has sounded the best imho but i didn't buy an impreza for looks or sound

ignore the comment about equal length being louder as its just not true

 

I moved over to equal length headers and it now sounds like a loud motorbike !! Not a real scooby sound but with other mods goes like stink
