guys what do you think......im in the process of selling my car but the first interested guy seemed somewhat put off by the fact its been mapped.......he's new to scoobs by the way,has'nt a clue

the car was done by one of the best.i won't name the mapper as i don't want to start one of those threads"who's better than **** or he's blown my car up!"

what do you think.return the car to standard or push the fact that the car has 319bhp thanks to the fact its been mapped by a guy that some members on here refer to as being the daddy.

 

imo. i would buy a car thats been mapped. as it will run safer and will drive alot better

Probably better than it left the factory.....a good selling point IMHO unless it has been mapped to an inch of it's life !!

To an enthusiast: BIG plus!! Especially if someone of Bob's calibre has done it.
To the general public. BIG minus: They assume in their ignorance than any car with it's ECU fiddled with is just waiting to blow up. The sad thing is, they'll often happily look at a car with mods like a decat without a map, which actually presents more of a risk of going pop, without a second thought!

It's up to you to enlighten them!!!
