Default VTA Dump Valve query...

I currently have a Baileys VTA (DV26 I think) fitted to my MY99 UK Turbo 2000. What potential problems can these cause to the car? Are there any methods which can be used to aleviate these problems? Reason I ask is, I do quite like the sound of it, but do not want these associated issues!

I used to own an Ibiza Cupra, and most of the guys who own these seem to run the standard recirc D/V, and have an open-cone induction kit. From this set-up, they were getting a good noise from the air being recirculated ,and amplified by the induction kit. Is this possible on the Subaru??

removing intake silencer from inside the wing and running re circ will give similar sound. induction kits are not allways Maf friendly and 99my mafs are not that robust. think k&n one works okay though.
