Carbon fibre roof!
#6
Spoke to them today and they asked me if the purpose were cosmetic or weight. I said cosmetic and they are getting back to me via Email.
I've assumed it would be a replacement. I also asked them to comment on group buy discount.
My roof has some rust forming and it needs to be cut out then resprayed. If a carbon fibre one (which looks a lot better IMO) one isn't stupidly more than the repairs to the steal one would cost I will get one.

I want one, so it can match a boot lid and bonnet!

Yeah know what you mean, personally i wouldn't entertain the idea of carbon bits at all anyway for a road car, but i wasn't sure if the roof was a replacement, or just a cover (cosmetic) from Roger Clark.

Nevermind, worth a try! I bet the vortex generator one would look good though.

Can't link to their parts pages myself, so just follow this:
Home > Subaru > Impreza WRX 2005 > Interior and Exterior / Exterior - others
Its made by l'aunsport.
I'm tempted to get one and a carbon bonnet and boot and paint the outer edges so it looks like theres a thick carbon stripe right over the car. Not sure if its worth the outlay tho
Oh by the way, its a cosmetic shell not a replacement. You just glue it over your roof.

I do like that one from Japan parts. Shame they don't do a MY99 one!
Brun, it's more bubbling under the paintwork where it connects to the windscreen.
stevebt, I agree but if you don't ask... :P

There are some on here that have taken delivery of parts from these people and have been happy with the packaging but I'm guessing not big bits like this.
Maybe worth a thread in general asking if anyone has bought from them and been unhappy
If you get any info, lemme know please

RCM's is a replacement roof. Japanparts's just fits over the top. There are also different qualities of weaves, too.
