Default HKS BOV

Does anyone know how you can tell a fake hks sqv dump valve from a real one? ive just got a second hand one its says hks in yellow on the top and has a purple insert and says sequental blow off valve, but has no adjustment screw on the back its for a 95 wrx any help please??

Wouldnt have thought you would get a fake as a lot used to be twin valved that I saw and you can get a cheap as chips BOV anywhere. Why so worried? Does it work or not?

not tried it as yet as did not want to try and fit a copy as ive been told they can damage things so not fitted till im sure its not a copy.

I think the hks are stamped and the copys are not, at least thats what i have seen.

it has a sticker on it but not a stamp!!!!!??????

Mines genuine, has a yellow HKS on top and a purple insert. I dont think I have an adjustment screw.

there is an hks emboss inside the bov of the real deal hks ssqv. have try using these imitation without any problems
