Has anybody carried out the above & if so how did you find the Wrx's shorter gear ratio's after the longer Uk one's ??

I take it the Wrx box is just a staright swap ?? Output shaft , Speedo Drive ??

Current box is a TY752VN6AA.

I have done a search , But to no avail

WRX box is direct swop bar the speedo drive,but all you have to do is swop it for your electric drive.The rear diff will have a viscous lsd in it so you will need the wrx shafts as well or,swop over the centre of your open diff.I have just done this on a customers 99V uk car and fitted a 93 wrx box,he has found better acceleration with stil good top end speed.Hope this helps.

 

if you do a lot of m-way driving i would stick to the uk box, if you dont go near any m-way wrx it is.

just my opinion though
