Default cold air feed

Hi all,

I have a quick question for you:

I am about to replace a colinder cone filter for the standard airbox with a cold air feed to it from a port in the fog light cover.

When I have done this there will be slightly more resistance (from the airbox and K&N), but the air will be colder (and probaly a higher pressure at speed).

So, my question is, will have have to get it remapped after this change, or will the MAF handle the change in air intake?

I had assumed not...

What do you think?

Cheers!!!

i know people who have done the same mod and not remapped. The MAF will account for the difference.
