sometimes when changing gear i hear a popping noise (thats the best i can describe it ) from the rear of the car, i always put it down to the exhaust popping but recently read that it could be the diff trying to activate while in high revs, although it happens when im driving not that fast and the revs are only 3-4000 and doesnt happen all the time. any thoughts please?

 

Just sounds like the exhaust to me..........

by the way nice car is that the one a lad was advertising for his dad who brought it back from japan with him and never used it? I remember this as it he said it sold straight away! Awesome car man and in the best colour.
