Default oxygen sensor- where?

Some help please.
Had a code 32 fault so bought a new oxygen sensor. I've replaced this before on a V2 STI type RA and it was located on the side of the headers.

Now, it's not in the same place on a MY96 STI ltd 555 wagon, where is it supposed to be, can't find it....!?

Have a look at the top of the downpipe.

Hmmm, I've got a st. st. decat downpipe with a bung in it. I can only see 2 wires to the plug yet the sensor has 3.............
After the decat, about 4 monts ago, car's been running fine until recently.

Down pipe is one of TSL's group A spec down pipe. See TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK
