Default K&n typhoon air intake system

just a quick question, i have a standard k & n induction kit on my wrx at the mo, would the above make much difference?

Hiya, its worth keepin it, outweighs disadv...

Adv:

It would add approx 3-14 bhp...
Visually better then a standard air box
Should notice Minor difference in throttle response
Will giv a nice slight deep sound not that the scooby needs any

Disadv:

See slight rise in petrol consumption
Cost dearer to replace rather then a stock filter...

would you keep the original induction kit or go for the typhoon?

If you do not have a cold air feed to the current induction kit, i would recommend the typhoon kit, as it takes cold air from the wing.
