Question BHP / TORQUE

I write in large print, so it does not matter if you have your glasses on or not.

I don't want to get in to, for and against of rolling roads, just info provided.

If a car runs 380 BHP at the wheels and 347 torque, why the diference?

How can torque be improved?

Does it matter if the BHP and Torque are close readings or not?

It's just I have noticed a few dyno runs show the BHP and Torque figures quite close in numbers, but in the main there is nomally a figure dif of 30 to 50 normally the BHP figure being higher.

The example figures of 380/347 are mine.

Many Thanks

bhp = torque x rotational speed x K

or BHP = Torque x RPM divided by 5250
(therefore Torque = bhp @ 5250 rpm )
