Default Handling Issues

2004 WRX.... The car is tramlining really badly and is starting to really get on my wick now! However, the problem does seem to reduce slightly after about 20 minutes of driving . I have had the geometry set-up and have also had the bushes at the rear of the front wishbone changed to poly bushes to try and cure the problem. The car has been up on ramps and everything seems to be ok underneath.

The problem appears to stem from the drivers side front wheel - I say this because when driving down the road, if I drive with the offside wheels on the white lines in the middle of the road, or in any road ruts the steering is noticably all over the place and the car basically goes where it wants to (Cats eyes cause untold steering problems!). If I drive with the nearside wheels on the white lines or in a rut there doesn't appear to be any problems....

Other than that, the steering is really responsive - it turns very quickly as soon as the steering wheel is moved - so I presume it isn't a steering rack issue.

Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated

What tyres do you have on and are they on the standard 17 inchers? Most tyres will take around 10-20 mins to warm up which is when you will start to feel more grip. If you have Bridgestone potatoes on that could be part of the problem.
