is it a gasket or some kinda paste
iff gasket can i get from subaru

Very old Scoobs had a gasket but classic onwards just use 3-bond or a silicone based equivalent

Na, I mean very early 89-90 legacy
, 3-bond sealant or just silicone sealant will be fine. Mines an early RA and thats what i use....
