Angry Stupid coil pack plug

Today I’d thought I’d have ago at changing my spark plugs in my 02 WRX as they haven’t been done in over 2 years. All went surprising well after removing the airbox etc and managed to get them all out and the new ones in with little hassle (thank god for the UJ joint!)

Only trouble is I’ve broken one of the little clips on one of the coil pack plugs and now the plug doesn’t clip in properly! Anyway, at the moment its held on with garden wire wrapped round the coil pack and certainly doesn’t look like its going anywhere but I’d rather replace the plug if I can.. Anyone else done this? Is it possible to do without disrupting the whole wiring loom?

Cheers
Ben

sounds like a difficult part to source on its own, probably loom change in my opinion[might be wrong so stand to be corrected]
if it were me i would leave the garden wire on if it is securing it firm enough

That’s what I’m thinking at the moment. I just don't want it to "break" loose whilst I’m driving along!!

I guess if it did then the CEL light would come on to warn me?? (not to mention the horrendous running!)

If worst comes to worst I’ll just glue it in some how. The pack can come in and out still connected anyway..
