Default IMPREZA 95MY SALOON AUTO GEARBOX HELP!!!!

Hi everyone,

In desperate need of help,

I have a 1995 Impreza Saloon Automatic, I am having major problems with the gearbox can ANYONE please please help me, or point me to the right people (southampton or nearest people)

I have had 2 new auto gearboxes (recon's) the first one lasted 4 weeks the second one we dont know yet.

What happened 1st time round was that I lost 3rd gear, and it just felt like it was in neutral. I was told by the auto gearbox company that the 3rd gear clutch had gone, I really need to find out what is causing this as it is getting silly now, any ideas?

I have done everything we can think of......... I have had a new rear diff as this was 1 thing that I was told may be causing it this problem, the rear diff still seems to skip on full lock and around sharp corners aswell just like the original one.......

Thanks Phill
