Default Help!!!!!

i was racing my mate in his P1 tonight and suddenly had loss of power and when i let off and looked in my mirror i was bellowing white smoke out of exhaust. And engine started running rough.
I pulled into a lay by to find oil everywhere it was on bonnet near where turbo sits, there are no abnormal noises coming from engine and i have got no boost pressure does this mean turbo has given up?????
Any help appreciated

Thanks

Similar thing happened to me christmas time, dropped from 3rd to 2nd to give it some and it died! Oil everywhere turbo side and running rough. I initially thought my turbo had given up due to no boost reading but when the guy at the garage gave it a prod and a poke it turned out to be the drivers side head gasket had gone between the oilways. Oil was getting into the piston, so thats where the white smoke was coming from.
