Default Fan Question

On an imported WRX (with air con) should both radiator fans cut in or just one? (with the air con turned off)

Bloody good question. My early import does that too. I thought it must have been broken...

Anyone?

They both used to go on mine aswell, but since swapping radiators only 1 works. Although i wasn't sure if the second one will cut in when the temperature increases more?

Can't tell you the answer but they are fused seperately. The fuses are in the engine bay near the NS strut. An easy check is to make sure none of them have blown. If one has, It might be best to check the loom as it plugs into the fans from underneath - they can get very close to the headers if disturbed, so could have melted and shorted.

Just checked the fuse box in my car. A 20amp fuse was missing. Replaced it, warmed the car and both fans cut in at the same time.
