3 port solenoid - are they all the same ?
Just a general question really.
Are all 3 port solenoids the same ?
Have seen different brand solenoids, different prices.
I think mine has just started to make ticking noises, so am thinking of replacing it. (Newage)

Mine was quiet until a few weeks ago.... Can't heat it with the windows up, only when there down and up to and around 30mph (before the rest of the noise drowns it out)
On my classic sti i have an apexi boost control solenoid, which is of the 3 port variety also makes a ticking noise as the car starts to boost.
This is completely normal from what im aware and have never had any problems with it.
