Induction Kits
I have a classic Impreza AWD Turbo 00, and I have been looking into induction kits , but I hear my year of car is prone to having problems with the MAFs when putting an induction kit on, can anyone tell me why there is a problem ? surely there should'nt be a problem is it where the sensor is situated? anyone know?????
cheers

There are a couple of reasons, with induction kits they get vibration which breaks the mafs, with oiled filters they get gunked which gives bad readings, best thing is not to put an induction kit on at all (and the fact your taking in hot air from the engine bay means your performance may suffer rather than improve), so a good DRY filter is whats recommended here if you want to change at all.
