Those short blocks that where being imported from the us about a year ago????

A local scrappy i help out in has just took a 97 leggy 2.5 in and was thinking i could use the engine for a 2.5 build?

It 'only' has 120k miles on the clock so was thinking of getting it and re furbing/building it over time if i can use it!

the US one, is it a turbo block or a N/A block??????

 

there is both , the N/A cant takke as much boost as the turbo one

 

the N/A is an open block.. the EJ257 2.5 is a semi closed deck..
