hi everyone, i took my car out on fri for a blast, when i pulled up smoke was comin out of the bonnet vent.i had alook and it seemed to be coming from th turbo, (was dark couldnt see much) anyway its not doing it now and i wondered if anyone had any ideas why.

Maybe an oil leak, burnt by the heat of the turbo.
rocker gaskets are comman to leak and are around that area (bit lower) crankshaft oil seal is another leaking point but thats at the front, but does drip onto exhaust manifold. Also possible spilt in oil return pipe from turbo.
Carn't see it being turbo on its way out,as that would cause smoke out of the exhaust
