INDUCTION KIT
Im thinking of getting an Induction kit for my, classic Impreza AWD turbo ,year 2000, but I hear that this year of car is prone for problems, something to do with MAFs, not sure weather this is true. Can anyone help me with my problem ? "what to do".....Induction kit or pannel fillter?
cheers

From what Ive learned on here your better off with a decent panel filter your year is prone to a sensitive MAF sensor unless your going to put a front mount inter cooler then you got no option but to put a induction kit
someone will be along to advise which panel filter or try a search should bring up plenty of results

Uprated panel filter is fine up to around 350 brake, I would only fit an induction kit if using a front mount. All you will do is pull in hot air. Stick with a good panel filter.

I have an APS Cold air induction kit on my MY00 where the filter is in the wing so does not suck in hot air from the engine bay and my MAF is scaled to take into account the APS, no idea if it gives performance gains bearing in mind all the other mods I have but it sounds fantastic
