My 94 wrx wagon has a janspeed 3" decat downpipe, magnex decat centre section 2.5" i think, and magnex 3.5" rear box, do any of you know if i could just change this back box to a different one without any problems? will another companies backbox fit onto the magnex centre section like HKS?

Should be fine - IIRC 2.5" is the oem size, so any backbox to fit the oem centre will fit onto your's directly.

If the setup is as you describe, then the '3.5"' of the magnex is only the tailpipe diameter, rather than the size of the through pipe...
