Question Upgrade from PFR7B's

Morning all,

I was wondering which plug is considered the next level up from 7B's, I have done a search on 8b's but no where seems to stock them online

Cheers

I have had to gap my 7b's to just under 6 mm to cure a high boost missfire as a result i am having stalling and cold start issues.

I was thinking that uprated plugs gapped back nearer 7mm would cure both issues

IMHO You need to find out why its misfiring closing the gaps to much to cure the problem is just creating another as you have found out. Changing the plugs to a say 8’s will not necessarily cure the misfire they just work at different temps allowing more heat to be pulled from the combustion chamber. The voltage or “Spark “is from you ignition system and to the leads and plug which in theory is where the spark is the weakest. I would first look at the leads and make sure they are not arcing out anywhere and maybe try a different coil pack if you have a spare. This is all assuming your plugs are in “good” condition.
