Default 2000 Jap Bugeye

Hello all,
Just a quick(hopefully) question about Octane on a 2000 Jap Bugeye.
I am in Ireland and we dont have 98 here so I am using booster but I am planning on getting a AndyF remap soon. But when i was speaking to a mate today he seemed to think that the remap would not be necessary on the Bugeye Impreza, that just on the Classic. I have searched the board but could only find posts about UK models and alot of quotes saying " it would be a different story if it was an import" .. so can someone enlighten me.
Thanks

They are mapped for 100 ron fuel so thats what I would advise you use unless you have them remapped for the fuel your going to run it on.
