It wont work unless you are remapping the car.

Incase you are....

Plug B43 on ecu

8 = Power supply >> Pin 1 on maf
10 = Ground >> Pin 2 on maf
9 = Signal >> Pin 3 on maf

Do you mean you want to fit a 4 pin connector on the V4 STI maf? That can also be done but is a little more complex. If you have the STI MAF sensor connector that's pretty easy. Not sure I would run wires all the way from the ECU though

Exactly what do you want to do?

I assume you are referring to my post Paul ? I have no diagram to determine the colors for the wires on his maf so I provided an alternative I assumed this would be understood by most people…..

Just desolder the plug from one and solder onto the other and plug it in as normal. Already done this on my car a long time ago.

No the pins wont be numbered you need the ecu diagram. I am not sure what colors the wires are going to your maf. You can trace them from your ecu to find out which is live and so on unless you already no, hence the numbers above. Once this has been done connect as shown with pin 1 being closest to the wing with the maf fitted in its correct position
