Smile sti3 1997 octane booster??

hi, i run an sti3 using shell v-power since i've it, so for about 1month.
i've heard that some classic don't need necessary a remap to use v-power fuel because, as i've heard that early jap sti didn't runned on 100ron, as not allready avaible in japan.
so is it worth for a v3, or do i use booster?
sincerely it runs very fine without booster.
thanks

Given that V-power is 99 ron, it shouldn't cause a problem. I used to run my sti 3 on optimax plus octane booster, but since the increase in ron due to the change to v-power, I've stopped adding the octane booster.

The car runs perfectly well, however I now have an apexi ecu so the car will be mapped specifically for v-power.
