HIya guys got a my97 impreza turbo uk car with 119k on the clock.

Mods done so far. exhaust turbo back, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Turbo running 1 bar, FMIC being fitted, Apexi power intake induction kit, HKS SSQV.

But am looking at buying new turbo and getting ecu remapped. Looking bout 300 bhp.

My qestion is am i pusshing my luck with the engine?

Will 300 bhp be to much for a engine and gearbox thats done 119k?

What do u guys think?

my old MY95 UK spec ran 345hp (so 120hp increase in power) and is still going to this day with 180k under its belt, mod away the engines are pretty well wearing - just ensure you stick to service intervals and barring bad luck you will be fine
