Help needed with heater controls

as title, heater controls stuck on dash,with the cold weather at the moment can't adjust blower onto windscreen, MY97 thanks.

By your feet when sat in the drivers seat, Behide the plastic around the stereo are the controles to move them up or down, It could be the bar has poped out if not you can move by hand there.
