lightened and balanced flywheels????
by replacing the standard flywheel with a lightened and balanced flywheel, i understand that acceleration will be improved BUT! will this affect max. bhp/torque levels of the engine as reducing the weight will reduce momentum?
Just had one fitted, if anything bhp will improve as the engine has to drag less weight around.
Unless you go for one of the untralight ones your drivablity or idling wont be affected at all.
pulling away at first can be a little "different" but nothing you done get used to within 5 mins of driving

Yea thanks for the update

If you go for a really light flywheel then the engine might tend to hunt for idle RPM.
Obviously not an issue with an aftermarket ECU like an Apexi wjhere you can set the idle RPM etc. (think mine is set slightly high to avoid hunting)
