Default numpty question on actuators !!

sorry guys but i need to ask before i start taking things apart , will the actuator from a TD04 fit onto a TDO5fe and would it hold 1.4 bar boost .... basicly i think my actuator is shagged on my TD05fe , but wanted to check , i have the origional TD04 from the car and just thought that putting the old actuator on the TD05 may be a good way to check if its the actuator or the turbo itself that knackered ......... its making 1.4 bar @ 4000rpm but then tails off to .88 bar @7100rpm , its happening in 2nd and 3rd but holding boost in 4th 5th

Have you tried switching the learn on, on the AVC-R?

SETTINGS --> LEARN GEAR press up arrow for 3rd and do a couple of runs..

just turn it off afterwards and check it doesn't over boost in 4th and 5th afterwards.
