boost solenoid info

Default boost solenoid info

hi can anyone tell me what information the ecu reads from the boost solenoid as in does it have any effect on fuelling or the mapping in any way . iam looking into running a electronic controller and was just wondering thanks

the boost the car runs effects the fuel and air consumed by the engine and therefore the map needs to compensate for the different boost..

the ecu doesn't read directly from the boost solenoid but uses it to control the boost the turbo produces.
