Try the full geometry first, if not this, it may be the tyres.

I find with the RE070's on this is more likely to happen due to the stiffer side walls.

Also, the RE070's seem to give a lot more feedback through the steering wheel to the hands compared to other tyres (Toyo T1R's in my case).

My MY04 STi did the same. Fitted Goodyear eagles after seeing recomendations on Scooby Net and the tramlining dissapeared.

Never mind geometry, where can I find these canvas covered roads? They sound like they are very smooth!

i found the REO70's tramlined more the lower the tread. well documented on here.

i had my geometry done at mocom racing Mocom Racing - Performance car and trackday products on monday and can't recomend the work highly enough. fairly near to you aswell (1/2 hour tops from dartford tunnel)

£80 inc VAT, unfortunately it appears the geometry had been done by the previous owner so there's not a lot of difference, but at least i know it's spot on now!

I have had Goodyear Eagle F1 put on the front now, and it drives like a different car, much softer on the front and does not follow the road at all now.

Hi, just had the standard geometry set up @ Powerstation, £82 all the measurements, except 3, were within the limits but Andy brought them closer together, there was a small improvement in all aspects but he only had small amounts of adjustment to do. I originaly wrote that it was worth £42 for the improvement and £40 to KNOW its pointing in the right direction, but I have since realised that even after not driving the car for a week or more it now feels as if I've only just got out of it, it's much more settled on the road. (not a very good description ) If I bought a brand new car today I would take it to Powerstation for a set up tomorrow. 06sti and its on RE070's
