Default Difference between heads?

Hi whats the difference between early wrx hydruolic heads and sti4 heads, do they make that much difference,as im rebuilding my engine and was wondering if i should change them?
Thanks for any help

PS anyone got a 6 speed gear linkage and clutch fork?

assuming they are deffo sti4 then they are worth changing too yes.. cams are better.. longer duration and more lift.. they are underbucket shimmed which allows higher rpm etc erc..

Sti3 are better than Sti4 but also rarer and most expensive.

just beware you are buying the genuine article not uk or wrx.. you need to know what they buckets look like to be sure.
