MY01 WRX Wagon exhaust help please!
As above really. When I bought my Wagon last August there were two decat exhaust sections in the boot, which I now know to be a scorpion centre section and a supersprint 961601 decat front pipe. I later found an invoice for these two parts plus a supersprint 960711 t/up pipe.
Also in the gumpf was an MoT failure from the car being decatted, and it would seem the std front & centre pipes were refitted. I'm assuming the up pipe is still on there as I found the cat version in the boot as well.
Now I've added a boost gauge, I'm only getting 0.5 Bar max, when I know it was mapped to 1.1 Bar by Power Engineering.
Questions is, can I refit the centre section decat and still be OK for MoT's? I can't be arsed with swapping every year.
It's got a prodrive rear box on, and to be honest I can't really afford a Milltek or similar, so I want to make the best of what I've got.
Car will be off to Powerstation for a Tek3 remap very soon, and hopefully back on full boost
Thanks for reading, any advice greatfully received
