Default Apexi Power Intake - changing element?

If the Apexi Power Intake is a dry filter, then surely it needs to have its element replaced regularly? How regularly and where are you supposed to get the new filter element from?

apexi filter need just compress air from a compressor for cleaning.

How does it fix to the wing? Or it just hanging off the MAF? ANy pictures?
