I have the chance to buy some headers, both in good nick and both around same price. One pair Equal lentgh the other not. Which is better

and why do they make more power than standard????

they will flow the gasses better than the standard manifold - more power!

equal length will flow better - slight gain over the unequal - but will lose your scooby burble.
