Default Diff Guard-Worth it?

Hi,

Been looking at the Prodrive Site and they have a cool looking Diff guard that seems like a good buy considering that roads seem to get worse and pavements seem to get taller.

Anyone have any experience with diff guards, not only for track days but also for everyday day use?

Thanks

If it looks good and you want it and it actually serves a purpose then go for it........

Unless you intend rallying I wouldn't of thought it'll do much other than look pretty (it'll also add a little extra weight).

Oh, you said "slow down"? Those words and the word Scooby do not combine well!

Is the weight actually that much of a factor?

Thought that there might be some aerodynamic improvements with the diff guard.

Thanks
