Having not owned my Bugeye wagon very long, i'm interested in finding out any known problems that pop up on them. I have searche dbut in honesty, i've not really known what to search for to get the results i want! Needless to say, i haven't managed to find much info.

Anyone know where i can get info on known problems. I have an '02 bug eye wagon, GX Sport.

Any help appreciated.

The main prob i can tell you about is the "bugly" comments spouted from *** heads constantly on this forum

 

They can be a bit wallowey as std.

 

phantom cylinder misfire cel codes due to troublesome neutral position switch. I'm on my 3rd NPS!

Just noticed you have a sport - don't know if they suffer with same problem as the WRX.

 

the ugly front end is also a problem (imo of course )

Hence the morette lights are on the way!!!

 

I have one myself. I've heard of other Bugs having gearbox trouble, not mine.
AFAIK, they're pretty sound if they are well mainatained. I modded mine re supension and remapped it.
