Default Best method/tools to drill the fog light covers

As per the subject. I'm trying to prepare the fog light cover for a cold air feed and don't want to make a bodge of it.

If you didn't have either of those?

I was thinking to drill holes in a circle, then hack saw the bits in between and shave off the rest for a snug fit.

holesaw would give a far neater finish and they only cost a couple of quid.
quicker too if you can get the size you need

Yes, the poor man's way is to mark out your circle, drill all the way around then saw in between. Jigsaw is best for that kind of cut. Or just buy a big hole saw.

You should be so lucky. Bodges are best left secret.

I've opted for hole saw, but will have to play in the morning. No pressure

Not heard back about the Defi's yet, but they're defo on the shopping list. Just waiting. But tomorrow, that's more important. Can't wait to finish this stage. (and get back the torque and some from the faulty NPS)

Well bought the hole saw (£10 ) and mandrel bit (£5) and it took (Andy ) about 10 secs.

Did a grand job. Will stick the trumpet on tonight, some photos may follow (especially as it wasn't a bodge )
