Question rac trackster?

Hi i bought a wrx in july and the guy said it had a rac trackster but i didnt need it so never checked. But know im selling it i would like to beable to say yes it has one or no it doesnt. How do i tell if it does or not? all i got was a booklet on rac trackster. Is there a box or somthing anywhere?

you can ring subaru helpline they can tell if your car has the tracker against reg no or chassis no
also if you ring rac trakstar they can send a signal to your car and tell you if is working ok

should have a card with it, like a credit card or get on to the rac as thay will have a record of your car and number plate on file

i had my one fitted but i have no clue as to where it is, all i know is it works. as when my car was serviced i had it pick up on a recovery truck within ten minutes i had rac on the phone telling me the car was moving with the ign off i was shocked

yeah it'll be in your car somewhere, common places are in rear boot panels, usually nearside or by ecu panel in passenger footwell, the unit is quite small but depending on the model it will have an aerial that is about6ft long and has to be taped down full length and not coiled up or doubled so usually findable by that.
