throttle posistion sensor
Hi Guys
I have '93 WRX wagon. It has 2 fault codes flashing,
31 - throttle posistion sensor and
43 - throttle posistion switch
I have fitted a new sensor and still have the same fault after ecu reset, any ideas. Also the boost solenoid is ticking all the time and the car cuts out on idle. It also hesitates and misfires wen cold and cuts out if you drive at a constant 3000rpm, but runs on wen u let off gas??? Im really confused now all help appreciated.
Cheers

The tps signal to the ecu is different with the throttle is fully open 4.7 & 0.9 when fully closed.
So you need to set up the tps to make sure you get the correct voltage when closed & open.
The connecter at the ecu is B95
The tps signal wire is pin 2
You can adjust it by slackening the 2 screws on the side & turning the tps, until you get the correct settings.
You really need a diagram for your model year ecu & diagnostic information.
Then you will be able to set it up. Just do a search
