High boost pressure and cold weather
Hey all...
Last few days its been quite cold...
I have the ps13 data monitor and it has been warning of high boost pressure... On remap boost was set too 1.5bar, but last few days its been warning of 1.52 and 1.54bar tonight... This normal???

Yep it's normal, when the weather is this cold, everyone gets a bit of overboost, you could turn the standard pressure down to compensate, or if its safe for you to run oer 1.5 just ignore it.

i think you need your boost turning down abit, if you only have a topmounted intercooler then it is very dangerous.
speak to your mapper asap to check its gonna be ok, as one high speed run may kill your engine.

That's a bit too much of an overboost. My high boost setting (power fc) is 1.4 and once only I've seen 1.5 bar on a damp cold evening. Usually it will overboost to 1.45 max, then drop back to hold at 1.4. From the sounds of it you're overboosting by 20% before dropping back?
