new age dump valve are they any good are they hard to fit were would i get one wot prods would i get if any thanks

Hi m8.

First off, your car will already have a re-circulating dump valve (one that doesn't go ptshhh!)
A 'vent to atmosphere' dump valve (VTA) will give a whoosh noise, BUT, they don't give ANY other benifits.
I found that a VTA actually made my car feel very 'jerky' when applying and closing the throttle.
These things are advertised to reduce lag, but they don't. They can actually increase it!
